Privacy policy

This site (stayfaretravel.com) is a travel price comparison front end operated by Mine Marketing. We do not sell or book hotel rooms, we do not take payments, and we do not ask you to create an account.
What we collect
We collect the search terms you enter (destination, dates, number of guests and rooms),
the country your request comes from, and standard technical information such as your
browser type and approximate location derived from your IP address. If you arrived from an
advertisement, we also record the advertising identifiers attached to that link, such as
fbclid and campaign parameters.
Why we collect it
To run the search you asked for, to show the site in the right language and currency, and to measure which advertisements lead to useful searches so we do not waste money showing ads to people who do not want them.
Messenger messages (optional)
Some of our pages offer a "Send to Messenger" checkbox. It is never pre-ticked. If you tick it and submit the form, you are asking us to message you on Facebook Messenger from our Page ("Stay Fair"). We then send one message with the hotel deals you searched for, and we may reply if you write to us. We do not send promotional broadcasts through Messenger.
To do this, Meta gives us an anonymous reference for your opt-in and, once we have messaged you, a Page-scoped Messenger ID. We store those identifiers, the date and time you opted in, the page you were on, the advertising campaign that brought you there, and the messages exchanged. We do not receive your name, email address or phone number through Messenger, and we never share your Messenger ID with KAYAK or any other partner.
You can stop at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages, by blocking or deleting the conversation in Messenger, or by contacting us. Once you stop, we no longer message you. Messenger itself is operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy.
Email sign-up (optional)
If you join our travel club — by entering your email address or by signing in with Google — we store your email address, your name if Google provides it, the search you had entered, and the campaign that brought you here, and we pass them to our email provider (Klaviyo) to send you the deal alerts you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
When you run a search we send you to KAYAK, along with the search you entered and an identifier that lets KAYAK credit the referral to us. We send advertising measurement events to Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and if you opt in to Messenger, your messages travel through Meta's Messenger platform. If you join our email list, your details go to Klaviyo. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: one to remember the country we detected, one to remember your cookie choice, and advertising measurement cookies set by Meta. You can decline the advertising cookies using the banner, and you can clear all of them in your browser settings at any time.
How long we keep it
Search and measurement data is kept for up to 13 months. Messenger identifiers and email sign-ups are kept until you stop or unsubscribe, or ask us to delete them, after which they are removed within 30 days.
Your rights and deleting your data
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To delete your data, follow the steps on our data deletion page or contact us; we complete requests within 30 days.
